Dorothy Marie (Rowley) Cook

Dorothy passed peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan, on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. She was 89 years old.

Dorothy (nee Rowley) was predeceased by her husband Stanley R. Cook. She was the beloved mother of Doris “Dory” Chrest (Richard) of Callander and Delores Dobbie (Ray) of Warsaw. She will be lovingly remembered by three grandchildren: Tammy, David, and Kristy; Two great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Marjorie (Bailey) and James Rowley; and by her siblings Lill, Cliff and Norm.

Dorothy worked for many years at Sportspal Canoe in Powassan, then at H.E. Brown Supply in North Bay, from where she retired.

Cremation has taken place. Dorothy’s family will celebrate her life privately. Her ashes will be buried with her husband at Callander Union Cemetery.
