Earl Wallace passed away peacefully December 19, 2025 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. He left behind a life shaped by family, hard work, and strong Northern Ontario roots. Born November 15, 1949, Earl was raised in Redbridge, and later raised his family in Callander, spending his last years in Powassan.
He was a proud father to his three sons, Curtis, Wayne, and William, and also played an important role in the lives of Lillian’s five children, helping raise and support them with care and commitment.
A longtime mechanic, Earl was well known throughout the North Bay area for his skill, honesty, and reliability. He ran his own mechanical business for over ten years and took pride in doing things right. Those who knew him will also remember his great sense of humour, quick wit, and ability to make people laugh.
Earl is predeceased by his loving partner Lillian Wallace, survived by his sister, Pamela Grandmond, and was predeceased by his siblings Gay, Wayne, Wilma, Glenda, Joanne, Bonnie, Creth, Ross, Bradley, Patricia, and Robert.
Earl will be remembered as a hardworking, down-to-earth man who cared deeply about his family and the people around him. He will be missed by many.
