LANTY, Elizabeth Marie “Betty”

Betty Lanty died unexpectedly, at her home in Powassan, on Friday, June 17, 2022. She was 82 years old. Betty (Knowles) was predeceased by her husband Douglas (1930-2007). Betty was the dear sister of Philip Knowles of Iroquois Falls and Edgar Knowles of Timmins; and was predeceased by her brothers Gerald Knowles (1930-1992), Henry Knowles (1933-1957), Ian Knowles (1934-2012) and David Knowles (1941-2018). She will be fondly remembered by her good friend Don Timpano of Trout Creek. Cremation has taken place. Betty’s ashes will be placed to rest beside her husband Doug at All Saints Mausoleum, North Bay. A committal service will be announced at a later date.
