BOLTON, Elmer Gordon “Sandy” (Retired Clerk, MTO)
With family by his side, Elmer Bolton died peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. He was 90 years old. Elmer was predeceased by his wife Phyllis (Fry) (1932-1981) and his daughter Tania Bolton (1964-1986). He was the beloved father of Pam Beatty (Burton) of Nipissing, Bonnie Stewart (Joe) of Kingston and Lana Dellandrea (Wayne) of Sundridge. Elmer will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Nicole (Paul), Tobey (Jason), Joey (Nadja), Amy (Dan) and Colt; step-grandchildren Jeff and Brittany; and great-grandchildren Jaelan, Isla, Loyal, Lorna and Juniper. Elmer was predeceased by his step-grandson Jonathan. He was also predeceased by his siblings Henry “Bud” Bolton (the late Alice), Vera Simpson (the late Roger), Dorothy McCauley (the late Lloyd) and George Bolton (the late Mary). Elmer was the dear brother-in-law of Rodney Fry (June) of Powassan, Lisa Fry (the late Gilbert) of Powassan, the late Alfred Fry (Alma of Corbeil) and the late Vernon Fry (the late Eileen). Cremation has taken place. The Bolton family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. and on Monday, January 20 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment of ashes at Arnstein Cemetery.
