Eric Stephen Young

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Stephen Young, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Nipissing Serenity Hospice, North Bay. Cherished by his loving wife Laura (McDaniel), son Dwayne and daughter Stephanie (Trent); Adored by his precious grandchildren Jory, Sophie, Matthew and Erik; Son of the late Maybelle (Keall) and Francis Young; Brother of the late Patricia (Pat Cotnam), Ronald Young, Wayne Young (Joanne), Charlene (Bob O’Hallarn), and Judy (the late Claude Gagnon).

Eric was treasured by his extended family, friends and neighbours.

The family extend a special thank you to Dr. Quinn and her team, Dr. Gill, Dr. Desmarais, Dr. B. Wong, Dr. Moore, Dr. Jinnah and all the staff at North Bay Regional Health Centre and Nipissing Serenity Hospice, for the overwhelming comfort, care and support we’ve received.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Eric’s life will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan.
