Florence Mariah Margaret (Peever) Clelland

After a long life filled with love and family, Florence passed peacefully at Nipissing Serenity Hospice, North Bay, on Thursday, May 1, 2025. She was 96 years old.

Florence (Peever) was predeceased by her husbands Ernest Clelland (d.1994) and Jim Blea (d. 2024), and by her young son Lennie (d.1967).

She is survived by twelve children: Virginia (Bruce), Terry (Vicky), Valerie (Albert), David, Waneeta (Mervin), Margaret (Mario), Jennifer (Roger), Bob (Gail), LeeAnne (Tony), Lynn (late Mike), Karen (Steve) and Justin (Irini); 34 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Florence was predeceased by her parents Esther (McKee) and Robert Peever, and her brother Ron Peever.

Florence was a longtime resident of Bear Valley. In 2015 she retired to Powassan where she supported Grace Pentecostal Church and enjoyed activities at the Callander Legion.

The Clelland family will receive visitors at Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Sunday May 11, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 3:00. Interment at Commanda Cemetery will take place at a later date.
