George Henry Aultman

George passed peacefully, his family by his side, at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday, July 21, 2024. He was 69 years old. George was the beloved husband of Jane (Watson) of Powassan; much-loved father of Joshua (Carry) of Loretto and Barrett (Kelly) of Shelburne; and adored “gramps” of Ethan, Emma and Keira. George was predeceased by his parents Helen (Kunkel) and Charles “Carl” Aultman. He was the dear brother of Pauline, Mary, Carol, Clem and John, and was predeceased by his siblings Bernie and Bernadette.

George was a long-distance trucker all his working life. He loved wood-working, tinkering on cars and was a jack-of-all-trades. George was a ready volunteer the many years he lived in Orangeville and more recently in Powassan.

Celebrations of George's life will take place Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Tweedsmuir Church Hall, John Street in Orangeville and on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Powassan Lions Den, 7 Glendale Heights Drive, Powassan.
