SEPHTON, Georgina Matheson “Jean”

Jean died peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. She was 94 years old. Jean (Davidson) was predeceased by her husband Douglas Herbert Sephton (1925-2009), her son Dr. Greg Sephton (1949-1993) and infant daughter Georgina. She was the much-loved mother of Susan Bruce (the late Bob) of Burlington, and David Sephton (Charlene) and Carol Cox (Bill), all of Powassan. She will be lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren: David, Neil, Daniel, Jeffrey, Leanne, Andrew, Jonathan, Douglas and Sarah and 12 great-grandchildren: Charlotte, William, Maya, Jasper, Ryan, Zoe, Lena, Grace, Finley, Forest, Emma and Sienna. The last of her generation, Jean was predeceased by her parents James Sutherland Davidson and Georgina Kerr, her siblings Doreen Clark, James Davidson and Janice Abbott. The Sephton family extend special thanks to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Palliative Care Staff. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
