HUTCHINS, Gerald Dwayne “Gerry”

Gerry Hutchins died unexpectedly, from complications due to a fall, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Friday, August 20, 2021.  He was 76 years old. Gerry’s beloved wife, Linda (Stever), predeceased him by two months to the day. He was the much-loved father of Andy (Heidi) of Loring and Vernon (Kelly) of Golden Valley; cherished grandfather of Landon, Logan, Curtis, Brittany, Makila and Carter and great-grandfather of Kayson and Ava. Gerry was the dear brother of Fern, Joan, Bernard, Mildred, Frederick and Darla; and was predeceased by his siblings Garfield, Yvonne, Willis, Lois and Vernon. Gerry worked for years as a truck driver, until a severe back injury forced him into retirement. He found contentment gardening and hobby farming at his home in Port Loring. His boys and their families were his pride and joy and he was surrounded by their love at the hospital when he passed. Cremation has taken place.
