Gord Thomson died peacefully, with family by his side, at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. He was 90 years old. Gord was the beloved husband of Bernice (Facto) of Powassan; father of Dian Damm (Neil) of Ayton, Bruce Thomson (Helen) of Powassan, Paul Thomson (Johanne) of Saskatoon, SK, Louise Paul (Craig) of Powassan and Jennifer Chapman (Richard) of Powassan; Grandfather of 16 and great-grandfather of nine. Gord was predeceased by his brothers Alfred and Lorne Thomson. A long-time dairy farmer in Chisholm Township, Gord enjoyed retirement at his home in Powassan. Cremation has taken place.
