Gordon Thomas Vokes

With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the death of Gordon, on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. He was 70 years old.

Gord is survived by his wife Nancy (Kewell) of Burk’s Falls; his children Kyle (Naomi), Katie, Shinnay (Len), and Alyssa; his grandchildren Hannah and Chloe; his stepchildren Kathleen and Sarah; and step-grandchildren Diamond, Stephanie, Cole and Dakota and two step-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Audrey Vokes.

Gordon is also survived by his brothers-in-law Richard (Linda) and Jimmy (Ivy-Lynn) Kewell.

Gord was retired from a career as an assembler with GarDel Metal Products in Richmond Hill.

In recognition of Gord’s love of animals, memorial donations to a local animal support service is suggested.

Cremation has taken place. Gord’s life will be celebrated privately.
