FREDERICK, Grace Ilene

Grace died peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan on Sunday, August 28, 2022. She was 92 years old. Grace was predeceased by her parents Lorena (Peever) and Andrew Towns and by her husbands Eugene Dobbs (d. 2012) and Ron Frederick (d. 2007). She was the beloved mother of Darl Dobbs (Gloria) of Lindsay, Marvin Dobbs (Edith) of Lindsay, Diane Moores (Gary) of Blackstock and the late Bob Dobbs (Debbie of Golden Valley). She will be lovingly remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Grace was the dear sister of Margaret Duff (late Ken) of New Lowell and was predeceased by her siblings Rob Towns (late Marjorie), Sherman Towns (Margaret, surviving), Alice Wylie (late Norman), Isobel Carpenter (late Doug), Joyce MacPherson (late Bill), Beatrice Tripp (late Stan) and Hazel Brown (late Joe); and half-sister of Francis, the late Ken, Barb, Jim, Betty, Linda, Dora, Brenda, Violet and Marion (Towns). Grace shared a special relationship with and will be missed by Brian and Lynn Belanger, and her dear friend and caregiver Suzette Payne. Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm and on Saturday, September 3 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 am and will be live-streamed (see link below). Interment will follow at Nipissing Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
