Harry Grawbarger died peacefully, on Monday, January 20, 2020 at his favourite place in the world, his cottage at the Falls. He was in his 75th year. Harry was the beloved husband of Cynthia (Quehe) of Powassan, loving father of Jason Grawbarger (Dianna) of Powassan and Aimee Moore (Clive) of Barrie, and proud and indulgent grandfather of Seth and Wyatt. He is also survived by his siblings Doris Tuffy (the late Robin), Dale Grawbarger (Lorraine Odd), and sister-in-law Yvonne Grawbarger. Harry was predeceased by his parents Eveline (McVeety) and Harvey Grawbarger, and his siblings Gretna McNeice (late Gary), Grace McNeice (late Wally) and Glenn Grawbarger. He was well known in the mining manufacturing industry in North Bay and area. The Grawbarger family wishes to express their gratitude for the care Harry received from Dr.Gordon Mah, North Bay Regional Health Centre Staff and the Burk’s Falls CCAC Palliative Care Team. Friends and relatives will be received at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Friday, January 24 from 10 to 11 at Restoule United Church. The Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Restoule United Church. Spring interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Restoule.
