TRUSSLER, Helen Annie

Helen Trussler died peacefully at her home in Powassan, with family by her side, at the wonderful age of 102. Helen (nee McOuat) was predeceased by her husband William Lorne Trussler (1918-2014) and her son Andrew “Andy” Trussler (Diane of Algoma Mills). She was the beloved mother of Grace Aoki (Dr. Fred) of Toronto, Tom Trussler (Margaret) of Connaught and John Trussler (Sue Love) of Powassan. She was the much-loved grandmother of nine grandchildren: Amy Trussler (Juan), Joe Trussler (Kara), Andrea Storie (Johnathon), Cynthia Kobel (Damien), Pamela Sottosanti (Giovanni), Robert Aoki (Brittany), Katie Aoki, Meghan Trussler (Jeff), Adam Trussler and 21 great-grandchildren. Helen was predeceased by her siblings Marjorie Walker, Jean Wilkinson, Lillian Dixon and Forbes McOuat. The Trussler family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, June 24 at 11:00 am and will be live-streamed (See below). Cremation will be followed by interment at Powassan Union Cemetery beside her husband Bill.
