Hilda Lamb died peacefully, after a brief illness, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday, October 24, 2014. She was in her 81st year. Hilda (Armstrong) was predeceased by her husband Vernon Hubert Lamb (1932-2011). She was the beloved mother of Judy Donnelly (Paul) of Lanark, Iris Bremner (Bob) of North Bay, Irwin Lamb of Trout Creek, Calvin Lamb (Tammy) of Rutherglen, Phillis Penny (Ed Quizon) of Trout Creek, Vivian Reichstein (Jim) of Trout Creek and Lisa Lamb of North Bay. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and was predeceased by her granddaughter Stephanie Bremner. Hilda was the dear sister of Shirley Hankinson (late Gerry Hankinson and late Gerry Hamilton) of Restoule, Merrill Armstrong (Joanne and the late Sherlyn) of Sault Ste. Marie, the late Joan Long (late Camille) and fondly remembered by Vance Grawbarger. The Lamb family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 5 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, October 28 from 10 to 11 am. The funeral service will take place at Trout Creek United Church on Tuesday at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at Trout Creek Union Cemetery.
