Isabelle Marie (Weiler) Kunkel

KUNKEL, Isabelle Marie (nee Weiler)

At Nipissing Manor, Corbeil, on Thursday, October 27, 2022, in her 87th year. Isabelle was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Lawrence Kunkel (1928-2009). She was the loving  mother of Clarise Hale (Jim) and Marlene Stokkeland, both of British Columbia, Martin (Terry) of Powassan and Daniel of Mattawa. Predeceased by daughters Catherine and Christine, and granddaugther Emily. She was so proud of her 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Isabelle was predeceased by her parents Sarah (Busch) and Ferdinand Weiler and sisters Margaret Taylor, Helen Sikora, Lillian Topham and Rachel Tremblay. She is survived by her siblings Donald Weiler, Monica Kunkel, Gladys Piper and Audrey Kunkel. The Kunkel family extend special thanks to the Nipissing Manor staff; especially Gerry, Kim, Velma, Margaret and Judy. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:30 am at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek.
