Jane Frances Coughlin

Jane died peacefully, after a short battle with cancer, on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. She was 70 years old.

Jane was the much-loved mother of James “Jamie” Deroche (Sonya), Laura Deroche, Derek Coughlin (Kathy), Kimberly Porterfield (Nathan) and her late infant daughter Crystal (5 months, 1982). She will be lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren: Sierra, Makayla, Raini, Mercedes, Haley, Brody and Brooklynne, Koltyn and Patience and five great-grandchildren: Scarlett, Cleo, Cali, Elizabeth and Aaron.

Jane was the dear sister of Ethel Tripp (Don), John Coughlin (Elma), Gary Coughlin, Bruce Coughlin (Sharon), Charles Coughlin (Nancy) and the late Donna and Earl Coughlin.

Selfless and generous, Jane was a lifelong caregiver and longtime Personal Support Worker at the former Lady Isabelle Nursing Home in Trout Creek.

The Coughlin family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 11:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 pm. Interment to follow at South River Cemetery.
