Janet Elizabeth (Poole) Luksa

Janet passed peacefully, at Water’s Edge Care Community, North Bay, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. She was 70 years old.

Janet was the beloved wife of Charles Luksa of Callander; much-loved mother of Tasha (Ahren Gerber), Ashli (Patrick Gerard) and Joshua (Kaitlin); and grandmother of Dylan, Hendricks, Abigail-Grace, Eleanor, Lorelei, Russell, Westley and Jack.

Janet was predeceased by her parents Genevieve (Murphy) and Lawrence Poole and her sister Rita Poole. She is survived by her siblings Larry Poole (Sue, deceased), Joan (John Lusch), Karen Poole (Steve) and Donald Poole (Judy).

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Janet’s life will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm at South Shore Missionary Church, Callander.
