JOHNCOX, Jeffrey “Clarke”

Clarke Johncox died unexpectedly, at his home in Callander, on Saturday, April 22, 2023. He was 74 years old. Clarke was the beloved husband of Linda (Cane) of Callander. He was the much-loved father of Krista Jones (Robert Perusco) of Barrie and Jason Johncox of British Columbia. He will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Evan and Madeleine Jones and his nephew Kale Johncox (Melissa). Clarke was predeceased by his parents Doris (Floyd) and Walter Johncox and his brother Kent Johncox. He will be missed by many other close family and friends. Clarke grew up in the town of Aurora. He was known by many as a Director of Sales for Teledirect Yellow Pages in Canada, the United States, and the Middle East. More importantly, he was known for his charming wit and the “Clarke way” of retelling jokes, stories, and events. He always made people feel warm and comfortable from the moment they met him, and you always knew you had a genuine friend with Clarke. The Cottage on Lake Nipissing was a happy place for Clarke, where the family gathered as they were the center of his life. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will occur with immediate family members at a later date.
