BARFOOT, John Glenn

John Barfoot died peacefully, with family by his side, on Monday, May 2, 2022 at his home in Powassan. He was 59 years old. John was the beloved son of Shirley (McDaniel) and Art Barfoot of Powassan. He was the much-loved father of Christopher and David Barfoot, both of Gananoque, and stepfather of Lauren Hawkins (Adam) of Halifax. John was the dear brother of Laurie Carmichael (Rick) of Powassan, Lana Storie (Rolly) of North Bay and Sherry Barfoot of Powassan. He will be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of John’s life will be take place on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. at Powassan United Church (Lower Level).
