YOUNG, John “Lyle”

Lyle Young died peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was 82 years old. Lyle will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Linda Young, his stepsons Wade (Marlene) and Darin (Patty) Mcbane, and his grandchildren Katarina, Dylan and Owen Mcbane. He was the dear brother of Theresa Miller of Kingston, Mina Corcoran (late Gerard) of Edmonton, Kalvin Young (Bev) of Powassan, Steve Young (Gail) of Powassan, Frank Young (Kathy) of Powassan, Veronica McCutcheon (Mark) of Stroud and Helen Armstrong (Paul) of Bracebridge. He was predeceased by his siblings Phillis McKenna, Lloyd Young (late Shirley), Jim Young (late Irene), and his former wife Theresa Gaudette. Lyle will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Lyle was a driller at INCO in Sudbury, for 33 years, retiring in 1991. The Young family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 12:00 pm in the Paul Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery will follow the service.
