WEILER, Joseph Clifford “Joe”

Passed peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre with his daughter at his side, on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. He was 82 years old. He will be missed by his wife Brenda (Stephenson) of Trout Creek; daughter Paula Rule (Gene) of Trout Creek; granddaughters Keira Byers (Patrick) and Michaela Lindquist (Eric Boyce); great-grandchildren Kale & Tayla Byers and Ayven & Olivia Boyce; and his sister Irene Dietrich (late Ray). Joe was predeceased by his parents Hilda (Hummel) and Gilbert Weiler and his siblings Ruth Ditner (late Urban), Mervyn Weiler (late Dora) and his identical twin Gilbert Weiler Jr. (late Elizabeth). Joe and his brother Gilbert were the longtime owners/operators of Two-Way Auto in Trout Creek. He was a 25-year member of the Trout Creek Volunteer Fire Department and was active in the local Hunters and Anglers Association. A celebration of Joe’s life will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2023 from 11 am to 3 pm at Trout Creek Community Centre. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Trout Creek Volunteer Fire Department Association are suggested.
