DOBBS, Lavina Arnetta “Vi”

Vi Dobbs died peacefully, her daughter Sherri and granddaughter Alea by her side, at Nipissing Manor, Corbeil, on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. She was 89 years old. Vi (nee Daub) was predeceased by her husband William “Bill” Dobbs (d. 2010). She was the beloved mother of Randy Dobbs (Mikey) of Orillia, Terry Dobbs (Leanne) of Halifax, Sherri MacLean (Marc Champagne) of Astorville, Margie Dobbs (Eugene Bumbacco) of Sault Ste. Marie and Doug Dobbs (Gerri) of Hamilton. She was the much-loved grandmother of ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Vi was the dear sister of Gerald Daub and was predeceased by her siblings Andrew, Margaret, Lena, Carl, Erven, Henry, Johnny and Clarence. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be followed by interment of ashes at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Golden Valley in spring. If desired, memorial donations to Nipissing Manor Residents Fund are suggested.
