Lorna Lynn (Krieger) Slessor

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorna Slessor. Lorna passed with her family by her side, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Despite lifelong health issues and her recent illness, she faced each day with grace and courage. She was just 63 years old.

Lorna (Krieger) was the adored wife of Dalton Slessor of Trout Creek, and much-loved mother of the late Heidi Slessor (1984 -2019), Sarah Slessor of Kearney and Lindsey Slessor of Burk’s Falls. Her warmth, love and strength will be forever cherished by her grandchildren Aurora and Lincoln Collins, Willow and Rayah Sowrey and Axel and Hudson Olhiser.

Lorna was predeceased by her father Richard Krieger and brother Larry, and is survived by her mother Doreen Jewell (Leonard) of Barrie, and her sister Darlene Currah  of Tillsonburg.  

Cremation has taken place. Lorna’s family will celebrate her life privately.
