TURGEON, Louis Joseph Ruben

Louis died peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. He was 92 years old. Louis was the much-loved brother of Ida Turgeon and Gloria St. Pierre (late Ray), both of Astorville. He was predeceased by his parents Muriel (Deanault) and Homer Turgeon and his brothers Oliver “Bunny” Turgeon (late Lucy) and Leo Turgeon (late Georgette). Louis will be lovingly remembered by his niece Monique;  his great-niece Ashley and great-nephew Drake; and his great-great-nieces Alexis-Rose and Allie-Ray. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan.  A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at St. Thomas d'Aquin Church, Astorville. As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Louis to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (heartandstroke.ca) or the Canadian Cancer Society (cancer.ca) are suggested.
