Peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Sunday, January 10, 2021. She was in her 93rd year. Louise was predeceased by her husband Alban Joseph Rick (1918-1997). She was the beloved mother of Fr. Raymond Rick of Lakefield, Marie Salovaara of Barrie, William Rick (Christine) of Powassan and Andrew Rick of Powassan; grandmother of Ryan, Tasha, Edward and Ashley and great-grandmother of Theodore. Louise was predeceased by her siblings Margaret Oberholzer and Henry, Andy, Phillip and Richard Aultman. The Rick family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Due to COVID-19 protocols, all visitors must schedule an appointment by calling the funeral home, 705-724-2024. Only five (5) visitors at a time will be allowed, masks must be worn, social distancing must be maintained and hand sanitization is mandatory upon entry.  A private funeral mass will be held Thursday at St. Joseph’s Church, Powassan. The mass will be available on St. Joseph’s Church Facebook page beginning at 11:00 am. Spring interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
