Following complications from RSV, Marcel died peacefully, with his wife by his side, at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. He was 72 years old. Marcel is survived by his wife Anita (Schmalzer) of Powassan and family and friends in Switzerland and Canada. Cremation has taken place.
