CAPES, Mabil “May”

After a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease, Mabil “May” died peacefully, at Eastholme, Powassan, on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. She was 83 years old. Mabil (Dunlop) was predeceased by her husband R. Murray Capes (1935-2010), her son Marshall Capes and infant twins. She was the much-loved mother of Colin Capes of MacKellar and Moreen Aultman (Bruce) of Powassan; grandmother of Kerri-Jean, Kirstin, Samantha, Deborah, Megan, Matthew and Stewart and eight great-grandchildren. The last of her family, Mabil was predeceased by her parents Mary and William Dunlop and her siblings Janet, Moira, Tom, Ina and John. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at Wyoming Cemetery, Watford, Ontario on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11:00 am.
