Margaret June (Howlett) Brown

Marg Brown died peacefully, at Eastholme, Powassan on Saturday, December 14, 2024. She was 89 years old. Margaret (Howlett) was predeceased by her husband Gordon Brown (1933-2011) and her parents Marjorie (Zella) (Pattenden) and Milton Howlett. 

She is survived by her siblings-in-law: Elaine (the late Lockwood Brown) of British Columbia, Betty Brooks (the late Wayne) of Powassan, Sarah Hampel (Harold) of Loring and Larry Brown (Barb) of Whitehorse, Yukon. Marg will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A long-time resident of Loring, Marg was raised in Aurora, Ontario. Declining health necessitated the move to Eastholme, Powassan where Marg spent the last few years.

As per Marg’s wish, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Interment of ashes will take place on her mother’s grave in Aurora.
