Margaret died peacefully, at Eastholme, Powassan on Monday, May 2, 2022. She was 99 years old. Margaret (neé Levett) was predeceased by her husband Walter Longstaff. She was the beloved mother of Joe Longstaff (Cheryl) of Powassan and Theresa Longstaff of Orillia and was predeceased by her children David Longstaff, Rita Sensenberger and Wayne Longstaff. She will be lovingly remembered by ten grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Margaret was predeceased by her siblings Grace Dovell, Thomas Levett and Aubrey Levett. In retirement, Margaret made her home in Powassan and until health issues limited her mobility, was an active volunteer and faithful member of Powassan United Church. Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Scarborough at a later date.
