Marlene (Grasser) Busch

Marlene died peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan, on Friday, November 21, 2025. She was 89 years old. Marlene (Grasser) was predeceased by her husband Evan William Busch (1934-2021). She was the beloved mother of Debbie Rennette (Rod) of Powassan, Brenda Kmith (Bryon) of Trout Creek, Brian Busch (Linda) of Trout Creek and Bruce Busch (Shelley) of Callander; Grandmother of Tyler and Chris Rennette, Travis and Jeff Kmith, Mike, Kyle, Cody, Brandon, Devan and Skyler Busch; and great-grandmother of 21.

Marlene was the dear sister of Rhonda Mullin (David) of Coldwater. She was predeceased by her parents Rosina “Rose” (Hummel) and William “Bill” Grasser, and by her siblings Melvin Grasser (late Alma), Lorraine Lingenfelter (late John) and Joyann Eckensviller (Glen of Trout Creek).

She will be fondly remembered by her siblings-in-law Del Crosetta (the late Renzo) of Port Elgin, Adwina Whitsett (Paul) of Val Caron, Rick Busch (Jackie) of North Bay, Nita Dargie of North Bay, Noreen Leroux of Powassan and Glen Busch of Powassan. She was predeceased by her siblings-in-law Delores Grawbarger, Eric Busch (Jeannette Eckensviller of North Bay), Clarice Hummel (Ron of Powassan), Edwin “Eddy” Busch (the late Helen, Ronald Busch (Judy of Powassan) and Dinton “Dinty” Busch.

The Busch family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Thursday, November 27, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Cremation will be followed by interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek, at a later date.
