Marlene Eleanor (Bowman) Walton

Marlene died peacefully, after a blessedly short battle with cancer, at her home in Chisholm Township, on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. She was 81 years old. Marlene (Bowman) was predeceased by her husband Ronald L. Walton (1936-2022). She was the much-loved mother of David (Shelly) of North Bay, Steven and Kim of Chisholm. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Victor, Sabrina, Micheal, Alex, Nicholas, Joseph and Natalie; and four great-grandchildren: Ryan, Dylan, Denver and Nash. Marlene was the dear sister of Ruth McRae (late Holly),  Lloyd Bowman (late Joyce) and John Perkins (Susan).

Marlene was a retired cook/manager at several area restaurants.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Marlene’s life, and interment of ashes at Boxwell Cemetery, will be announced at a later date.
