Martin passed peacefully, with family by his side, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Friday, March 28, 2025. He was 79 years old.
For 53 years, Martin was the beloved husband of Sharron (Taylor) of Powassan, formerly of Huntsville. He was the loving father of Allen (Penny Desormiers) of Powassan and Danny (Jennifer) of Huntsville. He will be lovingly remembered by five grandchildren: Joe, Shawn, Katy, Cassandra, Serena and Merissa and seven great-grandchildren.
Martin was the dear brother of Ronald Brown, Gwen Brown, and Christeena Steffler, and was predeceased by his siblings John Harwood, Sid Brown, Lenora Provincial and Stella Botting.
Martin was a lifelong resident of Huntsville and retired after 35 years as a shipper at KWH Pipe. He and Sharron have enjoyed the last 10 years of their retirement living in Powassan.
Martin’s family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with a funeral service following at 2:00 pm.
