CLOSS, Mary Ann Elizabeth (nee. Aultman)

After a long illness Mary Closs passed away peacefully January 17, 2025 at the age of 90 in Eastholme, Home for the Aged, Powassan, Ontario. She was predeceased by husband, Robert Donald Closs “Don” (1923-1986); grandson Michael Closs; parents Clifford Aultman & Maggie (Piper), and siblings Joe (late Doris), David (Late Doreen), Bill (late Betty), and Florence (late Sam Silva). 

She was the loving mother of Ann (Roland Aultman), John Closs, Rob Closs (Paula Loeffen), Laura (the late Kenny Topham), Wilda (Steve Judson) & Brenda (Roy Leamen); grandmother of Melissa, Amanda, Donald, James Closs and Robyn & Ryan Closs and Hannah Leamen; and ten great-grandchildren.

Mary is also survived by her siblings John (Sharon) Aultman & Leonard (Gloria) Aultman.

The family will receive visitors at Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 11 am in St. Joseph’s Church, Powassan. Spring interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Powassan.
