Mary Agnes (Mooney) Rick

Mary died unexpectedly, at her home in Trout Creek, on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. She was 76 years old.

Mary (née Mooney) was the beloved wife of Francis J. “Frank” Rick of Trout Creek. She was the much-loved mother of Kevin Rick of Trout Creek and Lisa Rick (Robyn) of Barrie. Mary is survived by her brother Pat Gareau of Gogama, and was predeceased by her brother Paul Mooney.

Mary worked her entire career at the North Bay Psychiatric Hospital before retiring due to health limitations. She was a longtime member of the Corpus Christi and Sacred Heart Catholic Women’s League. The family would like send a heart-felt thank you to all the PSWs that cared for Mary and helped her stay in her home.

The Rick family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, June 11 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, Trout Creek. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek.
