VESTER, Mary Agnes
Mary Vester died peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Monday, May 29, 2023. She was 74 years old. Mary was predeceased by her husband Robert Michael “Mickey” Vester (1947-2017) and twin infant children. She was the beloved mother of Lee-Ann Bossert of North Bay; cherished grandmother of Farrah (Dave Whitehead), Nadine (Blake Percival) and Bryanne (Morgan Vermette); and much-loved great-grandmother of Clarity, Dawson and Denver Whitehead, Ava Percival, Logan MacDonald and Elliot Vermette. Mary was the dear sister of Harvey Loxton (Mabel), Joyce Loxton, Ricky Loxton (Paula), Tom Loxton, Dennis Loxton, Cathy Busch, Ruth Lagassie (the late Richard), Caroline Krug (Jim) and Joan Lagassie (the late Dennis). She was predeceased by her siblings George “Sonny” Loxton (Melanie, surviving) and Albert Loxton (Coral, surviving). The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and on Saturday, June 3, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Cremation will be followed with interment ashes with her husband Mickey, at Powassan Union Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation (nbrhc.on.ca) or the Alzheimer Society (alzheimer.ca) are suggested.
