Maxine Evelyn (Latham) Lewis

Maxine died unexpectedly, at Eastholme, Powassan, on Thursday, January 11, 2024. She was 96 years old. Maxine (Latham) was predeceased by her husband John Lewis, her parents Ruby (Williamson) and Victor Latham, and her sister Arlene Morin. Maxine was the much-loved mother of Sharon Holmes (Dr. John Holmes) and Vickie Lewis, all of North Bay, and Rod Lewis of Ingersoll. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren John Paterson (Sandra), Jeffrey Paterson, Jennifer Rivenbark (Jim), Jason Paterson (Missy), Reed Holmes (Benny), Rod Lewis Jr. (Annmarie), and Angela Green (Ruel); great-grandchildren Gio (Odessa), Sera, Manny, Nick (Tina), Alexis, Bradly, Allysa, Jordan, Jena, Dylan, Jace, Bianca, Brooke-Lynn, Charlee and Adele; and great-great-grandchildren Ryan, Aubrey, Maddex. Maxine was the dear sister of Gloria Ereaut and Sylvia Varley, both of London.

On behalf of the Holmes and Lewis families, we would like to express our gratitude to Eastholme, in particular, the staff of 3 South and Dr. Ng for the wonderful care and respect they showed our mother. Thank you!

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Maxine’s life will take place in London, Ontario in summer.
