BOYES, Minnie Laura (nee Foreshew) July 1, 1926 - October 11, 2021
Minnie Boyes died peacefully, at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston on Monday, October 11, 2021. She was 95 years old. Minnie was predeceased by her husband Lloyd John Boyes and her son John Boyes. She was the beloved mother of Dan Boyes (Sharon) of Fenelon Falls and Elaine Choquette (Leo) of Lisle. She will be lovingly remembered by four grandchildren: Mark (Patricia), Amy, Trevor (Krista) and Cindi (Alex); and six great-grandchildren: Cooper, Carter, Charlotte, Brooklyn, Mason and Tyler. Minnie is survived by her sisters June Wabischewich (late John) and Ruth Hollins (late Richard); and was predeceased by her siblings Dorothy Barrett (late Howard), Gertrude Dunn (late Matt), Ralph Foreshew (late Jean), Richard Foreshew (Josephine, surviving). She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Originally from Loring, Ontario, Minnie moved to Alliston to work for Baxter Laboratories. She was a long-time, active member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 508 in Everett. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Loring Community Cemetery on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 1:00 pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Argyle Volunteer Fire Department (see below) are suggested.
