SKUCE, Myrna Joyce

Myrna passed away peacefully with family by her side at Leacock Care Centre, Orillia, on Thursday, March 9, 2023, after contracting Covid-19. She was in her 89th year. Myrna was predeceased by her parents Dorothy Fudge (1997) and Charles Skuce (1977), her sister Donna Ward (2015), her brother Murray Skuce (2017), and niece Cindy Haywood (2008). Myrna will be lovingly remembered by nieces Arlene Gause (Doug), Marilyn McKever (Harry Pring), Cheryl Peschutter (Bob), and nephew Philip Ward (Anne Levy-Ward), as well as several grand-nieces and nephews. Myrna was a lifelong employee of the Government of Ontario. The family will have a private graveside service at Callander Union Cemetery in the Spring. Special thanks to Cheryl and Bob for providing their loving care (and the donuts that Myrna enjoyed so much!).  Myrna was a very generous and giving person, having donated to many worthy causes throughout her life. Myrna was also an avid animal lover.  As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Myrna to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society are suggested.
