Nancy died unexpectedly at her home in Callander on Friday, November 22, 2024. She was 79 years old. Nancy was predeceased by her husband R. John Link (1939-2020). She was the much-loved mother of Christopher Link (Alyssa) of North Bay and Matthew Link (Deb) of Illinois; and grandmother of Kathryn, Connor, Mitchell, Christina, Pheobe and Odin. Nancy was the dear sister of Alan and David Clark and was predeceased by her sisters Helen, Dorothy and Darlene.
Nancy was retired after 38 years teaching at Marshall Park Public School. Additionally, she and John ran Link’s Camping Ground for many years. Nancy supported John in his many pursuits, including the Classic Car Club and the Nipissing Rock and Mineral Club. Nancy was an avid “maker”; sewing, knitting and crafting. She was a fervent fan of both the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Raptors.
The Link family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Friday, November 29, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, November 30 at 11:00 am.
