At North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, September 7, 2019, in his 70th year. Octave Labrecque was the beloved husband of Shirley (Amell) of Astorville. He was the much loved father of Kevin (Tasha), Christine (Ashley) and Jerry (Marnie). Poppa will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Josée, Stephanie, Melissa, Lena, Sawyer, Matthew, Tori, Brooklyn and Ryan and by great-grandchildren Bennett, Connor and Avery. Octave was predeceased by his parents Olida and Jeremy Labrecque and by his siblings Jean-Guy, Gerald, Cecile, Denise, Elvine, André, Annette, Raymond and Normand. Cremation has taken place. A casual celebration of life gathering for immediate family and friends will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, at the family home in Astorville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Kidney Clinic or the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
