HARRISON, Patricia Anne

Patti died unexpectedly, at her home in Callander on Monday, March 13, 2023. She was 75 years old. Patti was the cherished mother of Christine Corbeil (Jeff Gauthier) and Jordy Carr (Robert); loving Nana to Sarah Corbeil (Greg Dancey), Michael Fraser (Jessica), Sheridan Carr, Harrison Carr, and Jade Gauthier. The proud Great Nana to Rowen and Raina. She was the much-loved sister of Janet Harris of North Bay and was predeceased by her parents, Ina (Sheridan) and Douglas Harrison and by her brothers, George and Thomas Harrison.

Patti was a devoted mother and grandmother who was always there for her family. She showered her children and grandchildren with unconditional love and support, and her home was always a welcoming place for a chat and a cup of tea.

Patti was a passionate and dedicated individual who found great joy in volunteering in politics. Her tireless efforts to promote political awareness and engagement inspired others to get involved and make a positive impact. She was a member of the Nipissing Provincial Progressive Conservative Riding Association and served as a volunteer member of the Provincial Conservative Association committee, a member of the Federal Conservative Party and on the board of the Nipissing-Timiskaming District Association. She was a strong supporter of St. Peter’s Anglican Church, the Callander Cranberry Festival, and the Callander Lions Club. Patti was a kind-hearted and selfless individual who found great joy in volunteering for community events. Patti gained quite a reputation for her passion for baking; her love for it was evident in every dish she made. It was common for her friends and family to receive freshly baked delights at their doorstep.

Cremation has taken place. A private interment of ashes will occur at Callander Union Cemetery in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to join the Harrison family at an open house from 2:00 to 5:00pm., on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Carr residence, 509 Main Street South in Callander. As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Patricia to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides (dogguides.com) are suggested. As we say our final goodbyes to our dear Patti, we take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her loved ones who have passed before her. Rest in peace, dear Mother and Grandmother your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
