Patricia Ann (Moore) Purdon

Pat (Moore) Purdon died peacefully, surrounded by family, at Nipissing Serenity Hospice, North Bay. She was 95 years old. Pat (Moore) was predeceased by her husband Earl E. Purdon (1926-1998). She was the much-loved mother of Peter Purdon (Cheryl) of Powassan and Chris McNeil (Dan) of Barrie; Grandmother of Lesley Marshall (Chris), Michael Purdon (Trista), Megan Freeman (Shaun) and Robin Manuel (Scott), and great-grandmother of Miles, Elliot, Cohen, Hadi May, Jackson, Maddox, Sawyer, Bradley and Olivia.

Pat was predeceased by her sister Jessie Elizabeth “Betty” Johnson (the late Alvin “Al” Johnson).

Pat was a very active and dedicated member of Powassan United Church and the United Church Women, and was a familiar face at virtually every church function. She will be deeply missed by her entire church family.

The Purdon family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm and at Powassan United Church on Monday, March 25, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. The funeral service will be held Monday, March 25 at Powassan United Church at 11:00 am.

Pat’s family would like to thank the staff of Nipissing Serenity Hospice for their exceptional care and kindness over the last few weeks. Memorial donations to their wonderful work would be greatly appreciated. Alternatively, Powassan United Church and the Canadian Cancer Society are also suggested.
