Patricia "Patti" Lynn (Johnston) Ball

Patricia (Patti) Lynn Ball (nee Johnston) – April 25, 1948 – May 27, 2021

At home, surrounded by family, Patti peacefully passed away.  She was 73 years old.   Survived by her loving husband Norman Ball.  Beloved mother to Debbie of Haileybury, and Michael (Sarah) of Chisholm.  Cherished Gram to Logan Baker (Regan), and Ashley Baker (Jessica), and Great Gram to Braxton, Madison, and the newest arrival Xyla.  Dear sister to Dorothy Benard (Johnston).  Predeceased by her parents Roy and Eva Johnston (Smith). Patti had a heart of gold and would always help in any way she could.  At the age of 40 she returned to college to fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse.  She graduated top of her class, and worked at the North Bay Hospital as an RPN for 26 years.  Loving every second of it.  We are very proud of her. Her family would like to thank VON, Home Instead, and CCAC.  Thank you to Rolanne/Stephanie for helping to make sure she was comfortable at home.  And a special thank you to Kathy who went above and beyond with her care for our Mom. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.  As you may know, my mom’s love of cats was incredible, therefore in lieu of flowers, donations to the All Heart Pet Rescue (Powassan) would be greatly appreciated. May all your demons be put to rest, and may you find the peace you’ve so longed for.  Rest in Peace Ma!
