EAST, Rosemary (nee Del Brocco)

After a series of health challenges, Rose passed peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. She was 76 years old.

Rose was the beloved wife of John Maltman of Astorville and much-loved mother of William East of Orillia and Kevin East of Edmonton. She will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Juliette Barbara Rose East, Tieler Anthony Raymon Barnes, Jevan Lane East, Cayley Morgan East, William Lawrence East, Kane William East, Luke Allen East; and great-grandchildren: Maya Carolyn Brandy Russell, Lah K’Paw Htoo, Kweh K’Paw Htoo, Luna Mya, Winnie Mya and William Jonathon East.

Rose was the dear sister of Sharon Laurie (Don), Donna Richardson (Bill), and Don Del Brocco (Patricia).

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Rose’s life will be announced at a later date. Interment of ashes will take place at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery, Toronto.
