MEYER, Rodney Hooper

Rod Meyer died peacefully, and much too young, the result of cancer, on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. He was 58 years old. Rod was the beloved husband of Pam Meyer of Powassan. He was the cherished son of Gisela Cohen and Ronald Cohen, and dear brother of Eric Meyer and Jon Cohen. Rod was a long-time foreman, and more recently service manager, at Mid-Ontario Truck Centre in Barrie. He had a passion for bikes and was a friend to many. Rod and Pam operated a horse farm in Minesing before they retired to Powassan, Ontario. Cremation has taken place.
