Shelley Anne (Hunter) Nickerson

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Shelley Nickerson died peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at her home in Powassan. She was 60 years old. Shelley (Hunter) was the dearly loved wife of Robert “Bob” Nickerson of Powassan and much-loved mother of Sheena Lykke (Anders) of North Bay and Braden (Dayna) of Powassan. She will be lovingly remembered by four grandchildren: Lukas, Nash, Addison and Dax. Shelley was predeceased by her parents Joan (Strudwick) and Fred Hunter. She was the dear sister of Bonnie Miller and Bob Hunter of Barrie.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Shelley’s Life will be held at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1:00 pm with doors opening a 12:30 pm. A reception will follow at the Powassan Legion Hall from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
