KUNKEL, Stephen George

Steve Kunkel died suddenly, at his home in Chisholm, on Thursday, January 17, 2022. He was 82 years old. He is survived by his daughters Stephanie Kunkel and Janice Thibault, both of Thunder Bay and was predeceased by his daughters Margaret-Ann, Joanne and Donna. Steve was the dear brother of Ed Kunkel of Powassan and was predeceased by his sisters Henrietta Humphrey, Helen Aultman, Betty Giesler, Theresa Aultman, Bernadette Harrington and brothers Eugene, Gerry, Vincent and Lawrence Kunkel. Uncle Steve will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Steve was retired from a long career with the Province of Ontario’s Dairy Herd Improvement Corporation and the MTO. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held in the spring.
