Terry O’Connor passed peacefully, surrounded by family at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa, on Friday, November 25, 2022.  Terry was predeceased by his wife of 68 years,  Dolores (Lamont) (1935-2020). He was the much-loved father of James (Patricia) of Nova Scotia, Marilyn Brown (Richard) of Midland, Marie Shutka (the late Desmond) of Pickering, Lawrence O’Connor (Christina) of Minden, Colleen Townsend (Anthony) of Marmora, Theresa (Sylvain Harrison) of PEI, Frances Connolly (Benny) of Mallorytown, Timothy O’Connor (Lucy) of Marmora, Shannon Smith (Timothy) of Oshawa and Matthew (Marian) of Bowmanville. He will be lovingly remembered by 24 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Terry was the dear  brother of Betty Bayly (Owen) and predeceased by siblings Dennis, Larry, Peggy O’Connor and Gerald Smith. The O’Connor family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Powassan on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 11:00 am will be live-streamed at paulfuneralhome.ca (see below). Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Powassan.
