Taylor died peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. He was 94 years old. Taylor was predeceased by his wife Phyllis (Harrison) (1932-2012). He was the beloved father of Catherine “Cathy” Trussler of North Bay, Carol Ferolie of Abbotsford, BC, Janet Bellenie of Wahnipitae and Sandra Pierre (Richard) of Callander. He will be lovingly remembered by ten grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Taylor was predeceased by his brother Howard Hogg.
Taylor spent his career with Ontario Hydro, retiring as a Line Supervisor. He was a longtime member of Chisholm United Church and the Powassan Curling Club, curling into his late 80s.
The Hogg family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm and at Chisholm United Church on Thursday, June 13 from 10 to 11 am. The funeral service will be held in the Church at 11 am., followed by interment at Boxwell Cemetery.
